I have been thinking, about my first post of 2014.
It seems to denote a great significance as beginning to all my future posts for this year. Neither food reviews nor travelogues would be as meaningful as a reminder for our health.
No one would ever think to be diagnosed with chronic disease let alone the word “Cancer”. It is formed when certain genes that are supposed to regenerate cells grow abnormally into a lump. Benign and malignant are 2 classifications of cancer that the former generally not cancerous while the latter may become invasive and fatal. It doesn’t give warning nor can any possible preventive measures be done as the cause is not definite.
Figures of diagnosed cases might already be terrifying to some people but what feared most is when the horrible disease got into someone I knew. I have relatives that died fighting while some survive with financial distress from all the treatments and subsequent appointments with doctor. No one can help with their great mental suffer, but what if there is a way to ease their finance a little?
AXA AFFIN is working in collaboration with National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to support cancer patients that are currently undergoing chemotherapy. Basically, a post from us bloggers that links to 110CancerCare website will get a cancer patient one-day funding for their daycare usage at NCSM Treatment Centre.
