Umeda Sky Building (梅田スカイビル) is a tall building of 173 meters consisting of mainly two main towers connected with each other by the "Floating Garden Observatory", a doughnut shape roof that provides an unobstructed 360 degree view on the 39th floor.
Known as "New Umeda City", it is located at the Kita district of Osaka and is accessible through Osaka/Umeda station.
From the bottom it looked as if those UFO rays and the next thing you know, you're abducted and lying on the table while alien approaching you with its scalpel. #Too_many_movies_spoil_the_brain
Interesting lighting that turned passage into milky way colors of blue and green, or perhaps the intention was to resemble grass in the conjured images of garden in most minds.
Not surprised to see another high rise building being "marketed" as lover's paradise in keeping their love forever in the form of lock. Though it seems romantic in every way, I despise the fact that love is being exploited for the sake of their thick wallet.
What's not to love for this 360 degrees night view on open air observatory garden with breezing cold wind?
Overlooking Yudo River.
I believed that the best time to visit Floating Garden Observatory (also best time for photos) is during sunset.
